I was about to do the GrilleCraft Mod until I saw it was listed at $200 (http://www.grillcraft.com/applications/2003_Toyota_Tacoma.aspx/1|7/408/). I could get 1/2 a new suspension for that much $$$.

Anyone know cheap alternative? I'm just trying to stick some cheap lights behind the grill & get rid of all the chrome. Grillecraft really seems like just an overpriced sheet of steel mesh. You still have to unbolt your grill and saw/grind off all the plastic tabs. Then mount the mesh with sheet metal screws right?

My buddy has a roll expanded aluminum lathe, but I'm hesitant to use it because I can bend it with my hands & the holes are kinda big for sheet metal screws.

I'll post a walk-through if we can find a good alternative.
