HID Choice

    I need some input into what kind of hids i should go with that hopefully wont melt the housing as some cheap kits tend to do so........
    and yes i searched before posting and couldnt find info that was helping me out

    I have heard slim's are good kits but i have DDM's and havent had any issues with them

    IDk we shall find out if something happens to them, but so far i havent had any problems out of them

    TRS is having a full kit GB sale, check the GB section. That way you can get a proper HID kit will projectors and everything.

    I got a no-name brand HID conversion kit from a local flea market for my fogs for only $40(35W 6000K). I have ran them all day and night for almost a year now with no issues.... guess I'm lucky. My headlights are the expensive ones although I can't remember the brand but they are the same wattage and kelvin.

    And just to let you know... A 55W HID bulb will run cooler in temperature than a 55W halogen bulb.

    BHLM, bilstein 5100's, satoshi grillcraft grill, k&n cold air intake, tinted windows all around, interior map and dome light led's, hid fog lights and headlights, yellow fog light lenses, black lower valence.
    slim cubby has a good kit, really easy to install and he really takes the time to help you if you have any questions. Oh and there's usually a group buy going on so you can save a little money which is always good

    wish i woulda just gotten the projectors and all the first time around, deffinatly on my list of things to do!

    Ordered very expensive hits the first time around, then ordered ddms work great and haven't had a problem with them, but when i upgrade to a 2nd gen I'm going full retro ha
