    Important thing is that you're okay. Any plans on recovering the truck? Can't wait to see pics

    Same thing happened to me last year. Hit ice and wrote it off. Think this winter I might get studded winter tires. These trucks don't handle good on ice.

    Beanie babies. I almost got into a fight because this woman was accusing me of cutting in line when actually my husband was standing in line with a cast on his leg and I came to stand in his place so he can sit in the car.
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    The feeling of helplessness when not having control of your truck must have really scared you -- I know it did when I lost it on black ice. I didn't even crash but I spun out so bad, almost hit a railing and some people on the other side of the railing were running frantically. Kind of freaked me out for a while. I didn't want to get back in a car again for fear that I might lose it and hurt someone.
    I'm hoping that this is not going to affect your love of driving your truck like it did for me for a few months.
    I'm really happy to see that you are here to post this message instead of everyone wondering what ever happened to you.....
    And I'm glad your room mate is not harmed too.
    Gotta thank our lucky stars, don't we?
    Talked about puckered up, just praying to catch traction before that tree or ditch, cant hit the brakes. Black ice is a mudda, But I am glad you guy's are ok. Truck sucks but can be replaced unlike human life.
