I'm planning on putting a 3in suspension lift on my 01 double cab with new 285/75/16's. Does anybody know if I can run these without any problems on my stock 16X7's? I'm eventually going to get 16X8's but I would like to get my project going without having to wait. I was planning on blacking out the stock wheels while I'm saving up the extra funds.

I'm fairly certain your gonna need wheel spacers to run 285s on stock wheels. Its that way with the 2nd gens.

How about the 7in width? Don't want to pop a bead.
