    does anyone know if a 2007 stock tacoma wheels will fit on a 1996 tacoma?

    the 17" Sport wheels and the 16" Offroad wheels are the same bolt pattern as your 1st gen. They do have more offset however, which means they will be tucked in further. About 9/16th inch further in.

    the ones I have are 15" rims. They look like this:

    A shop told me that the wheels will rub against the calipers. I just wanted to verify with other people if this was true.
