3 in Ultimate ToyTec, set @ 2.5 in. AAL PINCH Weld Mod ( beat the pinch weld over inside the fender) Painted the pinch weld on bottom of cab Black Hi Lift Knock off
I have been wanting this for several years and knew I would have to do a small weld job to make it work. These are cast iron so the weld was not standard. I had some lug nuts welded onto the cast iron. This knob isn't for everyone but it is for me.:crapstorm::crapstorm::crapstorm::crapstorm::crapstorm:

I have to be careful how I shift now or the motor will grenade!

That's pretty cool and I'm saving it but if anyone has a stock OEM knob that would be perfect.

Post a picture with it mounted in your Tacoma. I want to see how it looks before I buy it.

Oh, I see now you weren't talking to me. This is why the "quote" button is useful.

I drilled out an 8 ball back in 1992 for my '89. I took it off when I sold the '89 in 1998 and screwed it on to my '98 the first day and it has been there ever since. The 8 rubbed off a long time ago since it was just printed on, I like it better plane black.

Tho' it could be utilized if one had a crawl box/compound low.
Mine is utilized primarily for bumping the rpm up when winching.

It would also serve as a budget/manual cruise control...
Tho' I wouldn't recommend using it in that way.

I have used it to drive my junk around...
without ever touching the accelerator pedal.
But again... I wouldn't recommend doing that.

I'm indifferent to what shift knob resides
the original gets the job done.
