    Factory Sunroof???

My dad's 87 had an aftermarket sunroof in it and it leaked like a sieve from the day he bought it to the day he sold it.

No matter what gasket, sealant, foam, etc....it would leak.

Mine leaks when the temp goes from snowing and frozen to warm and wet. The ice builds up and moves the rubber then melts and leaks in. I am going to swap out the seal and see if it helps.
Ive had 5 Preludes (88, 89, 90, 91 and 99) and none of the sunroofs had a problem because when they leaked (which all sunroofs do) there was an inner channel that caught the water and drained it out the rear wheel well. Totoya's press-fit seal will probably never work perfect because the rubber expands and contracts with temperature allowing water in. Blah. One of my only complaints about the Taco.

Its never leaked until about a few months ago, took the headliner out and all the drains are clear so I'm guessing its the seal has finally gone bad on it, other then that its perfect, and yes its a factory sunroof

well, good thing its factory. Probably will be fine once you get a new seal. Aftermarket units are notorious for leaking.

You're lucky...factory sunroof if a pretty rare option on these trucks.

You could try squeezing in some silicone, it might work a lil better.

I love mine. Even for just the sunlight factor. When I get in other vehicles I always find myself thinking "why is it so dark"?? haha
