What can I do to convert the 97-99 Tacoma rear drums to discs? Why? I HATE working on drum brakes. Besides, I can buy something used, rebuild it and sell my old drums used to make it a cheap upgrade! :D

My brothers Jeep XJ can simply take the discs from a newer model and install it on the Dana44. Anything like that for the aforementioned model?

    ^ What he said.

You'll get better performance by swapping the fronts to tundra brakes than swapping the rears to disc.

Conversion kits are out there and they arent too expensive. I've found some but I can't remember where.

Details. I totally know about front brakes having all the stopping power. I don't really intend on putting a lift-kit or bigger tires on it though. So I don't see much of a reason to do this, as of now.
