Yep....

This red Taco survived for 537,000 miles.
But silver trk only made it to 41,000 before the grim reaper of frame rust took them both away.

LSUDON

1995 1/2, Ext cab, v6, manual, 4x4,
At 489,282 miles the engine began loosing compression. Truck is in real good condition so I decided to replace the motor and clutch and keep driving it as my work vehicle. I'm a forester so its in the woods all the time, but I am careful with it and keep it maintained. Nothing done to the engine before the replacement except change the timeing belt every hundred thousand, and the clutch that was replaced was the original clutch. Presently has 502,280 miles. Interior is in excellent shape, so is the body and the chassis. I did have the truck undercoated when I bought it in 96 from a Toyota dealer. It had 17000 miles on it and was flawless. Insurance info in the glove compartment was for someone in California.

01 SR5 Ext cab, not really high miles, but it`s at 149,805, does not burn any oil and gets a steady 27 to 28 mpg back and forth to work, which is a combination of hwy/city miles

Had it since it was new, no major repairs, just clutch master cylinder, slave cylinder, brakes/oil changes, belts etc.

Changed differential and transmission fluid today

03 v6 172,000. Nothing but regular maint. Recently the blower under the dash is getting a little noisey and when i turn truck off it makes a whine noise like a supercharger whining down. WTF could that be?
