Hey guys I was wondering if you can put the taillights from like an 01 in a 98 without having to change the wiring?

You have to switch a few of the wires around, and get the longer screws from the 01, but its easy to do. Use a multi meter to find what wires need to go where. With the truck on, activate a turn signal, and see which wire gives the 12v signal. then make sure that wire goes to the turn signal bulb socket. Do the same with the brakes, and youre good to go.
