How hard is it to break into my toolbox? Its a UWS with slanted bottom segments to fit over my wheel wells. I just want to know how much i can trust it.

ive seen gang boxes torn open like a card-board box on jobsites. with the right tools and time, nothing is safe.

yes. at some point everyone gets one broken into. Even the best built ones are broken into. Ive seen them cut the corners off, torch them off, ive even see them break into a weaker box and use the tools from that one to open a different box. leverage is a big killer as well. You would be amazed at how they open like a can with the right leverage.

Not trying to scare you, but after seeing the job site boxes cracked open, I imagine truck boxes can be opened the same way. The difference is that truck boxes are usually out in the open and robber are obviously less likely to crack one for fear of getting caught...whereas in a building they have more time outa site.

i was just looking into them recently and the DeeZee ones claimed on the write-up that they could withstand 10,000 lbs of pry before the latches gave out. im not sure how true that is. but if someone really wants in they can find a way.
