Reg cab Cap on an extended cab truck?

Anybody got a pic of an extended cab topper on a reg cab truck?

Should work if the bed sizes are the same, otherwise might look in the redneck mods section

i never looked that close
but is the back of the cab the exact same on a reg and extended, might fit but look strange?

It is definitely different, I believe it is an inch different in height too.
I have seen pictures on the internet, but I cannot find any now.

I have found one on CL and they are telling me that they are the same.
They dont have any pictures either.
The angle of the cab is different and the ext cab cap almost hits the top of the window.

I guess I will have to drive out there and fit it.

The rear wall of the Regular Cab is 'vertical' (straight up), while the XtraCab rear wall is slanted forward.

Some topper manufacturers slant the front wall of their canopies / shells to match the XtraCab lines. Such 'slanted' XtraCab shells may hit the rear cab wall if fitted onto a Regular Cab. In any case, the lines of the rear cab wall and front shell wall won't match.

If you put a Regular Cab top onto an XtraCab, you might be left with a very noticeable gap between the forward-slanting cab and the straight-up canopy.
