ac compressor noise

i have a bad ac compressor pulley due to mud getting in the bearings. im looking at a compressor on ebay from a 2.4L. the thing is my taco is a 3.4L and im wondering if both engines use the same exact ac compressor?

No ... In the 1998 - 2000 generation there were different compressors for 4-cylinder and 6-cylinder Tacos.
