Mud Flaps?

I have a '98 4X4 Tacoma. I took the mud flaps off today to clean them up, and I think it looks better without them. What do y'all think?

I don't mind the looks of the mud flaps on and I appreciate when driving behind someone, that they have theirs on too. I always find it dangerous to be driving behind someone without mud flaps... especially when I'm on mountain passes in adverse conditions, gravel on the roads, etc...

Therefore I keep mine on, mostly for the safety and comfort of others on the road

Some thinks it looks better with them off....me personally, I love the look of functionality, and I can't imagine what my paint would look like if I didnt have mine. And as Madjik Man indicaticated, we all appreciate when the driver(s) in front of us have them!

I took mine off and like the look. But your rear bumper will fill with any mud coming off your rear tires.

With ya there. Can't stand the looks of them on anything.

Functionality aside, never been a fan. The first "mod" I did to my truck right after I got it was remove those things.

I think rear mud flaps looks pretty good, but I'm not so keen on front flaps! Debate with myself on finding a front pair but saw a same year taco the other day in a parking lot with them and changed my mind. Front flaps look funky.

But they save the paint job... (If you are worried about that)...
