Home built full skids. Home built front bumper. Plasti'd badges. Energy Susp. steering rack bushings. Sway bar delete. Deck plate mod. aFe Pro-Dry. Gibson exhaust.
If i used actual paint instead of derp i would have sanded etc. but all i did was wash the truck (paying extra attention to the tires/rims including inner rim), take the wheels off, dry them really well. Stack cards (get at least 2 decks) and spray two coats of derp on the outside. Flipped them after dry, tape off 'holes' and used the .99$ black spray paint for the inside of the rims.

Works great! One tip though, rip off your wheel weights prior to cleaning everything. Then when you're done, go get your wheels balanced and simply touch them up later. I forgot this step, and when i got my wheels balanced a few weeks later, i had extra work ahead of me due to the spaces beneath the old weights being dirty still...

If I spray paint my rims (which I intend to do, not derp them) can't I just leave my weights where they are and spray paint over them?

edit: I just saw that you left the weights on, in your walk through, Monte.

edit #2: Any special prep or paint needs considering I have the alloy rims and not the steel ones?

    Thanks.

Just went to your build and saw your wheels (and everything else)

Your wheels look great. How they holding up?

Love the look of your truck, the stance, the clean look of no badges and decals, and of course the Sunfire Red Pearl
