As some of you may know I have a 2001 4cyl 5sp single cab Tacoma. I was wondering if anyone has put a tachometer in a truck like mine. I don't think I will rev it so high that it blows up but I would still like to know how high it is reving. I have seen the digital guages, but I don't know if any of those have a tach setting. Any help is greatly appreciated.

well if it is above 1996 you should get the scangauge II. it is a digital gauge and yes it has a tack gauge in it along with about twelve othere gauges that are used for monitoring you engine. water temp, air intake temp, mpg, tps, and more. worth the $100 somthing. or you can get the Ultra gauge which is a lttle better looging module and bit cheaper. both just plug into obd2 port. hope this helps.
