I've got it and I've fixed it, and now i have it again. Anyone else have rust?

I also have rust - looking into options to fix. Thinking of having the metal replaced and then line-x coating applied.

I had it on my 96. It was all over the inner fender lip and supports inside the fender. Almost impossible to get rid of.

Yeah it seems about impossible. Eventually I'm gonna cut it out and replace it. Or get a whole new bed cause I have a couple of other spots too.

Just keep plugging away at it, so long as the bed is solid elsewhere, no need for concern unless you really care what a truck looks like.

Every once in a while when I wash my 04 ( every time in the winter ) I bend back the wheel houseing on the rear wheels and flush them, there is acess to the front fenders with the doors open and a carefully aimed hose.
