Check engine light just came on

    A lift, some wheels, some tires, some performance, some cosmetic and then audio.
    Its 9pm and my light just came on...any idea where to start to find a code? It started the stall when I hit the gas pedal.

    BUCKLE UP! It makes it harder for Aliens to pull you out of your Truck.
    Check for loose hose clamps and/or cracked or disconnected vacuum hoses. Check around EGR for burnt or pinched wiring.

    right under dash above your gas pedel. it is black with alot of little holes in it should be kind of rectangular

    you need to just get it scaned but when mine started to stall when i got it at 160k it was my MAF. change your PCV valve also, its cheap probably need new one anyway if not the problem

    I have done all the hi-pro mods for a life time, since I got this truck at a great price, I will be happy with showroom new.
    mine poped on yesterday, funny i was planning on working on it this weekend. took it to autozone, and its the ol Idle air valve, needs cleaning.

    Update so I got a OBDII reader hooked it up and 0 codes came up and the check engine light is gone w/o me even doing anything like hitting the erase button???

    Wait and see if the light comes back on so you can get a readout on which codes it`s gonna throw
