Talking Total chaos weld on spindle gusset questions

Does anyone have the total chaos weld on spindle gussets? I would like to get these but I can't find info about the prep process of the spindles if any other than cleaning up the spindle with a grinder with a wire brush wheel. Just to let you know I have a 2003 4x4 taco and am doing work on the front end soon but don't have a lot of experience with the front end of a 4x4. Once I have the spindle out can I just weld the gusset on or is more disassembly needed and if so what and how?? Any help here would be great

Pull them. Wire wheel clean them. Weld them. Re install them.

I have an '03... I removed the wheel and welded in place. I used a MIG and stitch welded. I don't receommend using an ARC machine.

Hope this helps you out.

Later.

Should all the bearings and seals be removed to prevent damage?

Not necessary.
If you have OEM UCA's, be sure to shield the ball joint.
