Tranny fluid

    2002 Toyota Tacoma SR5 TRD 3.4L 4X4 V6
    A lift, some wheels, some tires, some performance, some cosmetic and then audio.
    Any alt tranny fluid or should I stick to Toyota OEM?

    04 D-Cab 4x4 Limited TRD
    TRD Headers, Aero Turbine AT2525XL Deckplate Mod, TRD tranny cooler, King Coilovers, LR UCAs, Alcan 5 Leaf springs and Bilstein 5100s, Shrockworks front bumper, CBI rear bumper.
    I went with Amsoil universal ATF and haven't had any problems. Be warned, it is not cheap.

    From Walmart. Was like $20 and 10k miles without an issue.
    "Recommended for use where DEXRON, DEXRON II, III and VI, Toyota T-IV and WS, MERCON®, MERCON® SP and LV, Allison TES 295 and 389, Nissan Matic-D, Matic-J and Matic-K, Honda Z-1 (except CVT), Mercedes NAG-1, Mitsubishi Diamond SP-II and SP-III and many others are required."

    Been running OEM since I got my truck 9 years ago. Changed every 30k. No problems at all.

    I run whatever autozone or orileys dex III they have.

    Redline is top notch. I run the MT-90 version in my Manual, smooth as butter!
