    Hello everyone,
I Installed a spacer over the front OME coilovers, I love the new leveling but I'm concerned about m y CV boot angle.
Do you think I will be blowing the rubber soon? or is the angle not as bad as I think it is?
    Thanks for your help guys.

Doesn't look too bad but if you don't have a diff drop I'd get one. It'll help a bit

The only thing to worry about is premature wear of the cv boots. Sucks when those tear open.

The things that I read about the diff drop are not encouraging me to proceed with it. :S

Its a little steep, but not bad. Just keep an eye on the boot wear, Id check it at after each tank of gas, or every 200-300 miles for the first few months. If it is looking ok, then just check it every oil change when you are lying under there anyways.

Were you reading about 2nd gens? People say it's not worth it for the 2nd gen but for the first gen its usually worth it. I installed mine and have no problems.

No, I was googling some diff drop reviews not specific to first gens.
But its good to hear that you did not have a problem, cause I will be considering it if I start tearing rubber.

do you have OME lift coils too on top of that spacer?

thats lot of lift on stock UCA's and IFS...

hope you dont bind at full droop. Diff drop is probably a good idea.

I have about the same angle & my boot tore about 2 weeks ago. I'm looking at getting the diff. drop spacers, you may wish to do the same. The spacers are cheaper than the CV boot kits & alot less messy too

What coils you running? Just get 882's and ditch the spacer. Or get a smaller one, like 10 mm or 1/4". The bigger the spacer the sooner the shocks will bottom out before hitting any bump stops.

    Guys,

04 LTtacoma, That is one hell of a lift you’ve got there.
TacoMX, I don’t think I have anything else other than the Coilovers and the spacer that I have added.
JRockTaco, I’m thinking about the boot slide mod posted previously in this thread, I’m thinking its simpler than flipping the diff.
Lonzorizo, I have no Idea which coils I have installed.
Guys all I know is that after the ARB bumper and the winch installs, the whole front end of the truck went down and I needed to lift it, now I’m reconsidering.

like others have said...ditch the spacer and run some 882 coils...that will hold up the ARB bumper.

With the ARB and winch, I'd avoid the spacers and go with OME 886s. The 882s won't do justice with the ARB.
You'd be better off in the long run.
I practically have the same set up, and went with heavier coils.

My Bad, I was thinking 881s
882s do give the support for some added weight.
    However the 882 have a 500lb rating. I'm running 620lb Eibachs
