Yet another lift kit thread, need help!

I need the help of my tacoma brothers and sisters, i got $4000 saved up and im ready to dump it into my taco! I wanna do a lift, and i already have spacers but its time to upgrade. Im thinking 4" -6". seems like everyone loves to do the 3" but im pritty much already at 3", i wanna go bigger but i wanna do it right. Ive looked at every option and i like fab tech's 6" but i cant see myself paying $2500 for a lift. I also found a procomp 4" witch is nice. I dont know, im really going back a forth needs your guy's help.

 

Well if you want 6" of lift fagtech and procrap are your only two options unless you SAS (well over 4k)

IMO...and it's common thought that anything over 3" on our trucks is over kill. You can get racing coil overs, uniball uca's, new leaf packs, for under 4k...and if you want to go bigger on tires; tubbing the firewall and 3" of lift can clear 35's

 

new leaf pack in the rear is a given so far with some nice shocks, i dont wanna use shitty blocks. its the front that is giving me a hard time. who do you mean by racing shock and uca's? and i think im going to run a 275 70 r 18 for the tires.

 

Coil overs like Icon, sway away, fox, kings, ect adjusted to 3", and uniball uca's like camburg, icon, total chaos.

That will give you the best ride and performance

No, same as any other 3" lift

 

I'm finishing up my ome old man emu lift. It's close to three inches and can really handle anything I hope to throw at it (winch bumper, winch, armor, and beating the truck like a hooker in a port town). From the research I have done its not about height with these trucks, unless you want to look like a pavement princess joke. Check out wheelers offload or toytec on here. That's where I get my gear from and they can knock the noob off of you when it comes to information on lifts. If you got the funds and wanna beat on your truck, buy bumpers, armor (rock sliders, skid plates, and plate/tube bumpers) winches and the right gears and springs to run the tire/wheel combo you want. Post pics of whatever road you travel when modding.

 

You can also get extended travel coil overs and coupled with the uca's you would have a mid travel setup
