I have done all the hi-pro mods for a life time, since I got this truck at a great price, I will be happy with showroom new.
well, I did not notice it till my last hard undercarriage cleaning but one leaf had split and someone pieced it together and used a large hose clamp to tie it together! Now some might differ but in my book that is a half-ass fix.
if its sunny in the morning I will take a pic.

^ thats what I was getting at, ditch the blocks and invest in a good set of leafs that give the desired lift

Get new leaf packs and see how long they last. I can almost guarantee your blocks are contributing significantly to the degradation of your leaves

There is no way blocks can cause it to snap. Its the same thing with blocks in or out

The only reason i think that blocks didnt cause it is because the stock leafs broke also with no blocks
