They're done. You have a number of replacement options available including , , and leaf springs. I recommend against trying to "repair" the problem with AALs.

They got a little "S" wave action going but buildable, do it on the cheap

slap 2 Chevy springs under each side, call it a day, far better than most the "new" AAL's.... You do the labor & it'll cost under a $100

You said you wanted a cheap "fix"

$75-$100 max for a set like this, you going to tell me that this is going to flatten out after a year ? No fuckin' way, no fuckin' how...

    what a piece of shit.....:p;)

This isn't a fix , its more of a correction & an upgrade, eliminated all the axle wrap, & all the other ills the stock leafs have, but you go ahead & empty your wallet bro'...:p Hey the aftermarkets mentioned are all great springs, just too pricey IMO ... Just remember, this is YOUR truck, the end result for you depends on how much time & effort that YOU are willing to do as far as the research goes, I'm just saying keep your mind open to all reasonable approaches & don't get hung up on a few name brands that are always tossed around,, sorry man didn't mean to preach....:eek::eek::)

if you get longer shocks with stock leafs, you run the risk of overcompressing the shock and breaking them

    See that? ^^^

That's what happens if you don't fully read a post. :cookiemonster:

And you end up looking stupid.
(I didnt read that you'd take doug's suggestion, thought you were just gonna buy the shocks)

IMO, if you go that route, you may not even want to get the other leaf packs in the future...opens up money for control arms or coilovers
