What to look out for when buying a used Taco?

Currently taco-less. And I'm on the market.

I have a early model Volvo. And the online community is ridiculously helpful when it comes to "what to look-out for" when buying used...

So figured I'd ask here. What visual/auditory signs should I look out for?: Areas prone to leak, signs of neglect/abuse? The little tricks that come with owning and maintaining from a group of experienced tacoma lovers.

What I'm looking for:
1st Gen. 2001-04/ 5 speed/ 3.4/ Xtra cab(originally wanted a double-cab, but need a stick)/ 4x4/ TRD Offroad/ Under 120k miles/ Prefer to have a 3-4" suspension lift.
