Yep...69069 miles(bahaha), had to take a bus 400 miles and take a day off work to get it but it was definately worth it. Some rust on the frame but the Toyota dealer says it isnt one of the recalled frames and I'm good to go. As you can see the bastard left me with an empty tank! Otherwise its perfect mechanically and sounds exactly(almost) like the 88 4runner I used to have. Century camper shell color matched from the first owner, sliding rear window and sliding camper window....and of course 4wd (W/BFG Long Trails)

All I have to say is HELL YEAH and I'm siked to be sitting window to window with Tahoes and F250s!

PS- Running all synthetic and got 23 mpg on the way back doing 75 the whole way.

Same, did he swap the dash with the older gens? Or was the black dash available in other options?

4 cylinder? Sweet rig. And you bought it with 69k on it eh? That's nice, I bought mine with 48k though. Just about to pass 60k :p What are your plans for it?

I thought base models non sr5 had black faces with no tach.

I have never seen a no tach with a white face.

Interesting I have no idea what is or isnt normal for the dash but the carfax shows no wrecks or anything, and it all fits tight, doesnt seem like anything has been replaced? Either way i'm happy with it!

ffirg right now my plans are to have the Toyota dealer do their hundred dollar inspection (or just do it myself) and as my budget allows replace the bumpers with something (covered in surface rust and dents). Otherwise I'll leave it stock mechanically since I only offroad when I'm going somewhere off the road.

probably a camping setup in the bed and a roof rack on the shell, i already have the radio with aux/usb/bluetooth and remote setup. gps power cord runs behind the dash

Nice! Sounds like you got a sweet deal. I LOVE my yakima racks I have on my truck. Makes it so easy to haul a pair of kayaks or canoes or various lumber if you need to.

That is what the dash looks like on a base model. My 4x4 base looks exactly the same. Congrats on the truck.

GREAT FIND--drive the piss out of it--those four bangers are tough as nails.
Finally gave up my 91 4cyl for an 03 6cyl. more power less MPG. Had 200K and was running STRONG--Was time for a newer truck-20 year old vehicle was my limit.
Guy that bought it is still driving it.

I just duplicolored with the bedliner spray that front bumber that is metal. Yours is rusting as mine was, I took it down to bare metal primed and bed linered it, it looks great. Just a suggestion. Makes the truck look way better.
