on my 97 first gen the people I bought it from put this dumb lift on it where it replaces your upper a arms and they weld a shock in it's place to attach the topside to the truck. so my question would the parts off a 2nd gen work on my truck? the reason I ask is I have a buddy that is putting a solid axle on his 2nd gen yota and is willing to give me the parts for free. I just want to know if that will work or should I just go ahead and buy the stuff and not waist my time trying to get them to fit?
