howzit everyone im new to this forum but anyway i have a 2003 tacoma ext. cab 4x4 with a revtek leveling kit w/rear blocks. i got it about 5 months ago from a previous owner but i noticed that the rear passenger side of my bed is sagging. im guessing around 1-2" ive heard of the tacoma lean usually on the other side.

i bought a set of passenger side set of used leafs off a guy on craigslist from his ext cab tacoma thinking it was maybe my leaf springs that were the reason to the sag but after me and my mechanic friend installed it.. SAME PROBLEM. i am going to go pickup the driver side set of leafs from the same guy i got the passenger set from hoping that maybe my driver side set of leafs was possibly different spring rate from the previous owner??:confused:
so i am hoping when i go get the driver side leafs from the same tacoma it will level out but if NOT. Anyone got any suggestions or ideas of what it might be from or what i could do to permanently fix this problem or even "bandage" it with possibly some kind of spacer between the frame and bed on my sagging side will that work? any help appreciated!

btw i am thinking of a front bilstein 5100 adjustable struts with 2.5 or 3" coil spacers in the front and 2.5" - 3" rear lift shackles with either a AAL or blocks. but i wAS also wondering if i will have to tweak any steering or maybe a differential drop kit?? thanks

Howzit!? I'm on vacation in Maui right now :D I'm always surprised at how many Tacomas run around out here.

1-2 inches lower on the passenger side rear? Is that correct? Seems unusual. I'm no expert, but I'd bet that replacement leafs (i.e. Wheelers 5 pack) and a new set of Bilstein 5100s (or even heavier duty, depending on how hard you wheel) would even out the rear.

aloha brian, i live on kaua'i but yes hawaii is loaded with TOYOTAS on every island haha i guess us hawaiians are smart about what kind of trucks we drive! haha

anyway yeah its a pretty awkward problem, i started off thinking it was maybe my passenger leafs. i though maybe one of them could have cracked so thats why i replaced that set. i have looked at the leaf set on wheelers but its kinda to pricey for my budget at the moment haha... im hoping the the driver side leaf set from the guy i got the passenger side from will even things out.
by any chance is there any way my frame could be bent? i am definately hoping not

Is it possible that the block on one side is smaller than the other?

When u look from the rear you can notice that the sagged side of the bed has probably about 1" more space between from the bed to the little lines that run under and across the bottom of the rear windshield
