2001 tacoma V6 Exhuast system

Going to change up the Factory Exhaust system should i go with a single Exhaust cat back or should i go duel Exhaust Cat Back looking to go with
a Borla system, Need some feed back on this

Fake duals are lame.

I just put on a Magnaflow CB, and like the new tone (not loud), but the stupid clamps have allowed the muffler to come off twice after flexing the suspension. I'm going to weld it when I get time.

 

so single exhaust would be better ?

No one makes a catback dual exhaust for the 1st gen.

 

I had a custom cat back done - Magnaflow with dual exhaust. Mine come out just behind the rear tires. Slight angle. Sounds great. A bit louder then I wanted, but people think it's a V8. With the 3" lift and 33" tires it looks much bigger then a mini truck. Lol It's all about preference. What ever you like and want is what you should get.

I'd say save yourself some $$$ and just replace the muffler while maintaining the 2 1/4" stock piping. This is assuming the stock piping is intact, of course.
