Hey guys, I know there are million threads on here about lifting but I couldn't find an answer I am looking for.

I have bought an 04 dbl cab that was already lifted. There is 2 3/4" block in the rear and my leaf springs look completely straight, in fact they almost have negative flex and thats with no load. Everytime I hit a bump I can hear leaf slap and its just not riding well.

I have been looking at OME spring set, its rated at 2 1/4" lift. I was also thinking about buying a 1" lift shackle, just to bring it up to the same level where its riding now approx 3" lift.

I do not use this truck for a lot of off-roading, mostly highway/city driving, and getting to and from my hunting area, after that all ATV.

    What are your thoughts?

Sounds like your leafs are shot. I would ditch the spacer and just 'spring' for a new set of leafs that will get you the desired lift. And most likely shocks will be needed.

I would like to keep my lift at around 3", and OME didn't seem to be too outrageous for a price, 189 a piece. I there any springs that will give me 3" lift without having to shackle it?

could anyone tell me if OME Dakar from Toytec with 1" lift shackle would be a good option for a double cab? Or should I look elsewere for other options.

dakars are great, shackles will also work to help level; they'll get you more flex too
