one thing after another

So I've notived over the past month or so I've had a very small oil leak. And I got to looking the other day and realized it was out of my oil drain plug. So I said what the hell I gotta change the oil anyway so I change the fiber wash on the oil plug but it still leaked then went to a metal one still leaked and I went to a rubber one today and it still leaked. But what I'm trying to get at is has anyone ever had to drop a oil pan and how hard is it? It seems pretty straight forward

Have you tried the stock replacement washer? Also get a new bolt, I get my filters from my uncle that works at the dealership and he always gets me a new bolt and washer

Have you examined the plug up close? Maybe a crack or deformed threads.

One thing you can try is to take some teflon pipe tape that is used in plumbing and wrap your plug threads and put it back in. I know it is a PITA, but it may save dropping the pan. When you have the plug in the pan, and before you add the thread tape, take the plug put it in about half way and wiggle the plug. See if the plug moves a lot, you may be pulling the threads out of your pan by over tightening the drain plug. I hope some of this helps.
Good luck.

If the teflon tape does the job, install a Fumoto drain to avoid having to deal with the threads again.
