Any idea what size tire a 3.4 can handle with 5.13 gears? I'm thinking about running 38/15.50 r15 tsl's but I really want to try the 16/40 r16 ltb's though. What do you all think? On another note I'm either going to do a v8 swap or s/c the 3.4 sometime next year. Havent really made my mind up on what way I want to go with that yet. Thanks for any input

I lost track thousands of dollars ago.
You shouldn't have a problem running 40's with 60's under the truck. There is tons of guys running 40 + inch tires on Pirate drop in the SC on the 3.4 and it will be even better.

Just dont want to buy too much tire and the engine not be able to handle it. Anybody running 38-40 inch tires? How does it do?
