    Good day.
I am new to the forum and am seeking some help with the install of a Rostra cruise control on my 97 tacoma 4x4. The vehicle is being put back into full time service due to job change (daily travel). The cruise project started with the successful install of the unit under the hood and the control stem. I have the following questions:
    • Has anyone installed this on a 2.7 ltr successfully?
    • The manual seems to be a translation from extra terrestrial to human, ie, page numbers off, reference to figure(pics) that dont exist, etc. Which of the wiring instructions is necessary for a 2.7 manual trans? Anyone do this and take notes?
    • Throttle assembly - I didnt use the optional chain linkage, as per instructions, the travel in the cable seems to be fine without it. Thoughts?:confused::confused:

Works great, I have no idea why I didnt do this sooner. Will share experience if anyone cares to do this job in the future.

Thanks ISU for the tip, K.
