mild build

Hey guys im starting a mild build on my 97 4x4 2.7
right now the only mods are 5100s all around and 31s
Im thinkin aussie locker up front (i have manual locking hubs), the toytec 3 inch lift: then maybe a truetrac for the rear
and some frame supports and bumpers from trail gear
anyone see any problems here?
any info would be awesome

 

If you plan on doing any offroading skip the spacers and go with a coil lift.

 

Link to 5100s, I like Wheelers better, sometimes cheaper. My brother has some ebach coils that he used for 3 months, befor he went to coilovers. I can see if he wants to sell them. I have heard that everyone likes the 5100s and eibach coils.
I also have 881s, if ur interested. I am going with donahoe racing coilovers.

im still new to offroad stuff to bear with me
my 5100s have the adjustable circlip(idk if they all do), should i use my stock coils and just change the position to 2.5 or should i go with the 881s or the eibachs on the stock position(which would have the same height effect i assume)?
because the adjustable circlip and the coil spacer are the same thing
any info would be appreciated

 

You can use your stock coils and 5100's to get lift, but I have heard that the eibach coils ride better.

Yes, the 5100's(set at stock heigth) with eibach coils will give YOU(coz you are a 4 cylinder) 3.5" of lift, but with 881s you will get close to 2.5-3" of lift.

Sure, I have to get my coilovers in befor i can sellthe 881s, but i will ask my bro what he will sell his for.

Don't put a locker in the front. You won't be able to steer,
and take the best line when wheeling. It also increases
the likely-hood of breaking CV axles.

Leave open, or go with ARB (selectable).
