Did they ever replace frames on a 93 Toyota

There is a 93 Toyota Pickup (not sure if tacomas were made then or if it was still considered a pickup), but nonetheless, it has 134k miles on it and the owner said the frame had been replaced. He claims you can still see the stickers on it.

Thus, my question is, did they ever replace frames on 93's. I didn't think the recall extended back that far, but I could be wrong.

Any insight my fellow tacoma enthusiasts?

Edit: crap, got my decades wrong. Thats not a Tacoma.
Of course frame could be replaced, but would be at owner's expense (more than truck is worth), or insurance (bad crash from the back).

I doubt that... Unless Toyota is still using that frame for something somewhere it wouldn't be in production anymore and wouldn't be replacable. I also can't imagine the cost of replacing a frame out of pocket and why someone would deem it a viable option on a truck that old.
