first off before i ask for help allow me to introduce myself.

My name is Ty, i have a 2001 Toyota Tacoma that i got for a steal with only 62k miles! Before i was a chevy guy but ive fallen in love with my taco. Ive been looking around and reading the discussions on some of the forums related to retrofitting. Im still pretty lost on what i should get.

im wanting to order the Bi-xenon Morimoto mini stage 3 kit (D2S)

the problem im having is all the options to choose from.

could anyone here help me out? any input will be greatly appreciated :D

Order it...they'll plug and play with your current lights...it's, in my opinion, one of the best upgrades for these trucks.
We have group buys every so often, I would wait for one of those to start up, should probably be sometime next month I'd have to imagine..
    Any other questions?

yea my question is what options should i go with?

for the ballasts should i go with the 3five 35w? or the 5five 50w?

on the bulbs idk which would be the best option?
they have options of the 3five, 5five and then osram? and phillips?

halos? should i go with none, white or amber?

and then the shrouds? i honestly dont even know what they are referring to.

and how do i know which harness to use?

sorry for all the questions lol

Someone did a write up on the FX-R retrofit for the 01-04 Tacomas, can't seem to find the link on it. But I would definitely say do your own retro, with the FX-R's, the Mini's are great because they are plug and play, but might not be enough output for you. The minis are designed for motorcycles. But either way, it's a great mod that will give your ride a different look:cool:.
