But had to call some audibles at the line of scrimmage once I was under there. Once you get into it, you'll see what you have to do.
Off the top of my head I removed the bracket holding the cruise control and throttle cables... made life much easier and it was two 10mm bolts.
edit, two more things: 1. Before you start undo the negative cable off your battery and remove the EFI relay in the fuse box in the engine bay, and 2. if you're going to tighten the throttle cable it is two 12mm nuts (not 14mm as written in that link). At least that's what it was on my truck
Also, being a knob, I marked everything will tape so 1. I would know where it all goes back together and 2. would remember to put everything back together, eg hoses on necks, etc...
Very simple and straight forward.
The other thing I read on here is not to let all the crap from your throttle body drain into that hole that feeds your IAC valve/sensor. So when cleaning the throttle body, I always made sure that hole was at the top.
Here are before and after pics of my throttle body. I didn't spend a crazy amount of time on it because my OCD would have had me sitting there for 6 hours cleaning it
