I am having trouble figuring out what size bolts are used for the bed tie downs. Does anyone know off the top of their head what size they are? I tried a 5/16 bolt which looked almost identical but they meet too much resistance screwing in...so I don't want to destroy the threads.

They would be metric. If it looked like a 5/16 then it's probably an 8mm
