Howdy. I've been shopping for a low mileage Tacoma, and finally found a 2-owner 2004 TRD Dbl Cab with 47k original miles. It is in immaculate condition

    Is 17,700 a good price?

With that little mileage and if it's truly in mint condition, I don't believe that truck will stay for sale very long.

Just search for other comparables for sale in your area. I picked up my 2004 trd off rd. 55k miles with a trd supercharger for 16.5.....not a scratch on it.....until now. Sounds pretty nice though, those are low miles!

^^^ I agree. Paid $16K for my '02 with 25K miles in Denver last January and have never regretted. That was at the top of the Blue Book value. 2 yrs newer and only 25K more miles? Sounds good to me. Do you have the CarFax and maintenance records?

very good point, for 17 it better be a 4x4

but 17k would be a pretty good buy. It's not a score, or an amazing deal, but a good price. Maybe you could talk them down.

Check autotrader.com for comparable prices in your area. As previously mentioned, it depends on the package it has. If it's the TRD off road 4x4 and the body is flawless, then I would say yes, buy it. It's hard to find super low miles on a Gen 1 in good condition.

It's kind of a tough one - the price doesn't seem like a super deal, but then again getting a mint low mileage truck may be worth it as trucks pop up all the time for sale, but not all in great shape. I got mine a few months ago, a 2004 TRD Prerunner DoubleCab in pretty much mint condition for 13900 with 56000 miles on it. I'd try to get 'em down on the price a bit, but it all depends on the area too. And is it a 4x4?

    FYI
    I found mine a, 2003 Extra cab 4x4 power windows/locks cruise V6 5 speed with 50k miles....then got a new frame from Toyota. Paid $16k

I had a hard time locating a truck with under 100k miles on it.
