towing

im looking in to getting 2 seadoo's, will my 2004 prerunner toyota tacoma tow them fine, it is the 2.7 4 cyl, i have and K&N air intake and a flowmaster exhaust. I just want to make sure my truck can pull them out of the water with no problem.

i'm not exactly identical to you, but i tow a single jet ski behind my v6 and i can't even feel it. coming out of the water for me has never once been a problem, and i don't imagine your 2.7 would have a problem either. just don't try and lay on the gas coming out of the water.

I was actually looking into the same thing, possibly buying 2 jetskis, and I'd be towing them behind my 2004 2.7L. To be honest, idk man. I regularly tow an ATV ( ~1200lbs including trailer) and it does the job, but its a lot of downshifting on the highway. Around town you definitely feel it, but its fine. I dont remember exactly how much a jetski weighs, but I remember coming to the conclusion that 2 of them would wight substantially more w/ the trailer than my one ATV. I can't imagine that a 2hr highway ride would be much fun at all....

That being said... I wouldn't let that stop me from buying a pair of jetskiis if I could afford them! Ha!

i finally took a chance and towed my friends for a day, we went out and the only thing is, with a 2wd tacoma with the 4 cyl, if you just drop it in to low and easy on the gas, it gets it up, just have good tires, i have bfgoodrich K\O's and it pulled pretty good, im not taking it for long trips though.
