(sorry, i accidently posted this in the second generation forum first)

i have a 99 tacoma and i have lost the one and only key for it. i called down to the toyota dealer with the VIN# and they fellow told me he thought i might need to tow it there (2.5 hrs away) because he thought the key was a programmable key. does anyone here know if the 99 tacoma needs to be programmed? or what else i could do to get a key to start my truck? its kind of embarrasing to have a great running truck in my driveway that i cant start! thanks.
