Has anyone tinted their 1st gen tails?

I would love to see pictures, or a write up. Only really saw the 2nd gen write up.

Thinking about doing mine, lets see em!

writeup is exactly the same as one for a 1997 ford taurus, they're all the same.

 

Checkout Tacomarotto's build. He tinted his a couple weeks back.

And like ^^ said, it's all the same process.

 

Used the spray on stuff from pepboys. Turned out really nice. Faded after about a year but it worked out because I was over the look by then haha

My brother did his 2 years ago They still look the same.

Unscrew the four bolts on the lens take the cover off. Spray them with NiteShade, can buy from advance auto parts. Take them inside to dry overnight.

 

HVT night shades on my with clear coat.
Oh and new bumper build

 

if you have LED's don't the reverse lights come out sorta purple if you tint those?
