Door "check" fixes?

    140 amp alternator, Big 3 upgrade, Ultimate Headlight Mod, Trans Cooler
    Has anyone come up with a solution for the door check bar, the feeble thing that holds the door and prevents it from swinging freely? Besides the 90 bucks the dealer wants? I have found some online places that only(!) want 60 bucks. . .

    My doors still work ,all I can say is check the junkyard/ebay.
