On June 19th I started a thread crying about how expensive sliders are, especially when you factor in shipping costs. In this thread I also confessed my love of BAMF sliders.

A day or so later Milehighliving PM'd me saying he lives in the Bay Area in the summer and in Boulder the rest of the year. He said he could drive BAMF sliders from JLee's shop to Boulder for me.

So last week I pulled the trigger on BAMF sliders and let Milehighliving know. He drove up to JLee's shop yesterday, picked them up, and drove them to Boulder... where I just met him to grab my sliders.

Un-friggen-believable. This is just another fine example of the community we have here on TW.

He never discussed or demanded compensation for his time and effort, so we settled on two racks of my famous baby back ribs (currently on the smoker now).

Just gotta give him the props he deserves.

    You'll appreciate this.

I'm even missing the Giants game tonight so I can drive the ribs over to his house. I haven't missed a Giants game (preseason, regular season, post season) in god knows how many years.
