I know auto zone has rustoleum paint made for wheels, but tell me what paint you guys have used that you think might have turned out better. I wanna give them the nice shiny look

I'm thinking the inside portion of rim where its already a grayish textured color. I wouldn't be able to get them to a tire shop, then back home while truck is on jack stands sitting on asphalt driveway. Could put some wood under stands for awhile. Just a pain. Got me thinking tho.

Now that I have a second set that I bought specifically for beating up I will be looking to finish my Sport wheels with something better then cheap paint. They will need some help though. Thinking blast/powdercoat. A local guy does (2) for $25.

already beat up within the first month

I never had issues with chipping and I do minimum prep. Scratching is unavoidable regardless IMO. I would scratch a good powder coat wheeling.
