Dot know if other states have a website like this but these reporters go around and take photos of big scenes. They are actually cool media. check it out.

I just left the service after an injury and family schedules conspired against me. I miss it, but what can you do. Love the ladder- we had two engines, two tankers, two rescue box trucks plus two medical rigs and a brush truck. No need for a ladder in this area because there are no tall buildings, but some neighboring departments did. Fun stuff, but spraying a monitor off a 70' stick sure made for some swaying. Stay safe out there.

Great title and thread, man! ;)
So I'm a volley/paid-on-call/part-time paid on shift firefighter that graduated from fire academy with my Associates Degree in Applied Science in Fire Suppression! I ride all apparatus within our dept (3 Engines, 1 Tender, 1 Quint, 1 Rescue, 3 Ambulances, 1 Boat) depending on what the call is! ;) Love the lifestyle, love the job, and trying to become career!

And this is my Tacoma! :D

Ha ha! Yeah... we use LifeFlight a lot due to all the outdoorsy stuff, which is usually a helicopter, but occasionally we get a fixed wing!

Oh yeah! We have an ARFF, too! :)

Nice I really miss that area. My dad was a volley in Nunn for 15 plus years. Tha's what got me started. I have a lot of friends from all over that area that are career firefighters now.
