    where do i put my tansmission fluid at in my 97 tacoma 4x4.. lol i feel alittle stupid asking

    For automatics ( A340F) pretty sure you use Dexron3 IIRC

    Automatic right? Should be a dipstick to check the tranny fluid under the hood on the left i think. Take out the dipstick, put a funnel in it and pour the fluid in. Make sure you keep checking how much more you need to add before overfilling, otherwise your gonna have to get back under the truck and drain a little.

    Oh my bad, read wrong, get a small funnel & add fluid where the trans dipstick goes.....:eek:

    Lol thank yall now i really feel dumb i know where the dipstick is it just never came to me to use a small funnel... haha i was looking for somewhere else to put the fluid

    No worries man, at least you asked first instead of one guy that DERPED all to hell & either he drained the oil crankcase thinking it was the trans. & filled it with ATF, or drained the trans & filled it with oil or some damned crazy thing...cant remember who tho'....:D
