95 taco 2.7l almost dies when ac is turned on??

Hey,

this is lance an is my first post..

Heres the deal...i have a 95 4x4 5 speed tacoma and im having ac\idle problems. Im posting only because after reading all the posts I still havent heard anything real spacific to my problem.

When I started it this afternoon here in NC and cranked the ac...truck immediatly idled down and died completely. Turned off the ac and it fired right up no problem. Now my ac doesnt get cold?? Compressor turns on and clutch engages! After this happened truck seemed hard to start as well!

Im stumped any help would be greatly apreciated!
