Sway-a-Way Coilover settings

I just picked up some 2.5 650lb SAW's from a taco and I'm trying to grasp a good "to go by" with determining threads shown to inches of lift. I guess most people just start from the top and count turns. I'm trying to achieve close to 3" of lift to match the rear and it needs to accommodate the additional weight up front. The guy I bought them from said they were set to lift his taco 1" and had them dialed in well to accommodate his front arb and the 'taco lean'. I know it will take some time to get them dialed in where I want them, I mainly just would like to know a general area or measurement to start out at that will get me close to 3" and not ride like ass.

I would take them to a place like downsouth, have them rebuilt and ask for help about what I want out of them.

 

Prolly best thing to do would to be to install them on your truck and adjust them how you like it.

 

Hard to tell. Just install them and adjust accordingly. I have to adjust mine twice before and after it settled.

 

^^^This. Besides, they will be much easier to adjust with the spanner when they are mounted.
