    I have a 2001 double cab...also have a bed extender...
truck has the factory plastic bed liner in place....
how do I attach the bed extender...
I've been trying for a couple of hours...
Any ideas, what am I doing wrong?

looks like the bed liner is in the way. do I cut holes in the bed liner?

i had the same question. But I figured it out your brackets use the same screws that your rear tie down hooks use. It is kinda tough to get it all in there using just the small hole that is for the tie downs but you can. Just unscrew those 2 screws holding your rear tie down hooks in there and slide the brackets in there and then put your screws back n. Kind of a bad description i know but hopefully you can figure it out if not ask more questions lol

thanks....tried that, but couldn't get past the factory bed liner, meaning it won't fit without cutting the bed liner....
but i might not be doing it right....

any pics you can email me?

Ill try and take some tonight but I know on my bedliner there are 2 holes in the rear just big enough to slide that bracket in and just big enough to allow you to get to the rear tie down hooks. Its a pretty tight fit but ill work on getting you some pics
